Since the company was founded in 1991, our aim has been to offer the best service and the best products. This pursuit led us in 1996 to employ our first master two‑wheel mechanic, Christian Petzold. Since then we have proudly held the title of a master bicycle workshop. With the opening of the Delta-Bike CUBE store, our master workshop is represented not only in Gießen but also in Wettenberg, and is thus present at two locations.

Our workshop since 1991

The technical innovations of the past 10 years have fundamentally changed the requirements for a workplace in a bicycle workshop. The development of e-bikes/pedelecs, electronic shifting systems, lightweight carbon frames and the integration of software make the availability of additional special tools necessary. A bicycle has thus not only become more complex, but also more complicated to service than ever before.

For this high-quality workshop service, two things are of utmost importance.

Assembly of a new bike

Every bicycle is carefully assembled and inspected by us. Truing the wheels in a truing stand is just as standard as tightening every bolt to the correct torque and adjusting the gears and brakes. We document the assembly in a report that will be handed over to you upon delivery.
Our apprentices are checked according to the "four-eyes principle" to ensure that our high quality standards are met. Every assembly ends with a final test ride that ensures your bike is fully functional.

Delta Bike "Sofort-Service" and "Kundenkarte"

If something on your bike should fail and it is therefore no longer usable, we offer you a prompt paid workshop service so that you can stay mobile. 
Our aim with this Sofort-Service is to keep any unplanned bike downtime as short as possible.
A necessary condition for a prompt repair is, of course, that the required spare parts are in stock or can be delivered quickly. In some cases a seemingly small defect can lead to an extensive repair. In such cases we cannot guarantee completion within 72 hours.

Delta-Bike "Inspection"

Every high-quality bicycle needs regular service and care. We recommend that you have your bike inspected once a year.
This is carried out using our inspection report, which documents the condition of your bike and will be handed to you as a copy.
The job is accepted in a joint consultation with you. During this, we will take an initial look at the condition of your bike together with you. If wear parts need to be replaced, you will receive only original spare parts from us. After the inspection has been completed, the bike will be returned to you at an agreed appointment and the inspection will be discussed in detail.
